Q: What does it cost to post a featured resume?
A: Featured resumes are currently priced at $.00 and runs for 30 days on the site.
Q: How do I post a ‘featured resume?
A: Just select the ‘featured resume option and follow the instructions. Q: Will 247itcareers.com ever pass on any of my details to 3rd parties, other than agency or corporate recruiters for recruitment purposes?
A: No, your details will only ever be made available to registered Employers and recruiters. We will never make your details available to anyone else. If we find anyone misusing data from our site their account will be cancelled.
Q: What is a Technology Professional?
A: Anyone that is in the computer industry or has some type of Technology skill set. Q: I am having trouble registering but I am not sure why?
A: Registration problems are most likely caused by including a space or symbol in your username or not entering your password identically twice, please check if this is the case. Your postcode may also not be recognized, if that is the case then please remove it and continue with the registration process.

Q: I registered on your site however I did not receive your confirmation email.
A: Please check any spam / junk folders as it may have been interpreted as spam. If you cannot find it please email support@247itcareers.com from the email address you registered with us and we will gladly activate your account. Q: How do I update my personal details or change my password?
A: Please click ‘My Account’ and then ‘My Profile’; you can then make changes to your profile.
Q: If I upload a copy of my resume does that mean that Employers/ Recruiters will be able to view it?
A: Yes, you can always deactivate in “My Account” it if you no longer want it be searchable. ‘ Q: Why do I need to fill out the fields as well as uploading a copy of my resume?
A: This information is important to enable Employers / recruiters using the site to find your resume. If you have not filled in a particular section your resume may not appear in search results.
Q: How do I make a change to my uploaded resume?
A: Your can edit or deactivate individual resumes by clicking ‘My Account’ and then ‘My Resume’. There you will find edit/deactivate buttons next your uploaded documents.
Q: If I do not want my resume to be visible to Employers / recruiters do I need to delete it?
A: No, you can deactivate individual resumes by clicking ‘My Account’ and then ‘My Resume’. Use the deactivate button next to your uploaded documents. Once a resume is deactivated it is no longer searchable.
Q: When I paste my into the box on your resume upload page why is the formatting not exactly the same as the original document?
A: When you paste your resume into the fields it is converted to text format. It may lose some of the formatting if it was originally an MS Word or PDF document. Once you have pasted the document and hit enter you are able reapply any formatting you feel is in important if you wish to do so.
The uploaded document will not be altered in any way; it will remain in its original format. Q: Can I upload more than one resume?
A: Yes, Up to 3 different resumes and you can select which you use when applying to a job posting.
Q: How long will my resume be posted?
A: You have full control of that, you can delete it permanently from the database or just deactivate till you are looking again.
Q: Where do I find my resume?
A: Most functions can be accessed from My Account there you find everything about your account. Resumes, Job searches, Job alerts Notifications, Billing History
Q: I am having trouble uploading my resume on your site?
A: Please check that you are not using a symbol as part of your job title or desired job title. Please also check that you have no commas or full stops in your desired salary details (eg. 60,000.00). If you are still having difficulty please contact support@247itcareers.com
Q: Your site does not recognize my postcode, what shall I do?
A: We are building a global postal code database, if yours is currently not recognized please remove it and continue to register without including it.
Q: I have a link that I think would be interest your users, what shall I do?

Q: What do you do with my information?
A: Our user’s personal information is treated with complete respect for your privacy. You always have control of what information you want to be made public. It will never be shared or sold to 3rd parties. Even when you post a resume or a job you will still have complete control of what you want to release to the public.
Q: What is a tech job?
A: If you cannot find a category that best suits your job posting chances are it’s not a tech job. Executive, Management, Sales, HR and Administration categories are for companies that are in the technology business and are looking for candidates that have worked in and understand the technology industry Q: Why is there a limit on resume alerts?
A: We don’t want our powerful search engine spamming you. You can set up a very detailed Alert for that perfect candidate with all the skills you need for you Department, project or client. Let’s say you set an Alert for Engineers I think it would be save to say that your mail box would be full. We want to insure that when you receive an Alert from 247itcareers.com you know it will be worth taking the time to review it.
